Exhibit:                      Film and Photography

Benchmark:               Number one all about me

 Skill:                          Creativity and such

Film and photography have been my passion ever since I was little.  They have sort of been my creative outlet, every time I felt inspired I would pick up my camera and head out.  On a good day I could walk four miles and take over four hundred photos.  Of course when I got back I would sit in front of the computer and narrow it down to about fifty that I actually liked.  I learned to think in different ways thanks to it.  I saw beauty in everything and it just took a little bit of ingenuity to make other people see it that way, and that kind of thinking got me through a lot of things in my life.

When I was younger I used to take my mom’s camera out and just take pictures, it wasn’t until later though that I could really appreciate how nice they were.  I realized that I actually learned something from it something more than just the basics of photography, I learned to look at things in different ways, I learned that beauty comes in many forms it just takes a special eye to see it.  Realizing this, changed my life.  I now could think outside of the box, because I could look at things from every angle.  It gave me the best problem solving skills ever, I became more creative than I ever had in my life and I have been so successful for it.   I have had many problems in my life that have seemed like they could never be solved, but I was able to understand them and see them from every angle, so I found a creative solution.  Film and photography have had a huge impact on my life they were a way for me to get away when things got hard and that is probably why I love and use them so often.

Right now camera skills are not really that helpful, but in the future in the film industry it will be really nice to know about the hardware I am working with, it may put me ahead of my colleagues when applying for jobs or just advancements in position.  Creative problem solving is a tool that everyone should have, and I am very lucky to have it.  It has gotten me through many hard projects in school and will continue to do so.  As for the future my job is all about being creative, so having this ability will allow me to understand my job much better and will allow me perform at the highest standards in my field.
