Exhibit:                      Trigonometry test and Honors Math Packet

Benchmark:               Academic

Skill:                           Top pieces of work in Math

In my junior year I went through a time where I was taking an extra class every day before school, I was also taking two other math classes at the same time.  I took pre-calculus, trigonometry and honors math all at the same time.  This was a very stressful part of my year, because it was full of homework and learning multiple types of math all at once.  Even through all of it though I still did some of my best work.

The first piece is my trig test.  I missed one point on this test, but I feel like it was a really good score considering that on the same day as the test I had a performance of the Christmas play my theatre class was putting on, along with that I also had a pre-calculus test and I was learning lines for another play.  At that point in time I was completely overloaded with things to do, but somehow I managed to only miss one point on the whole entire test.  I learned then that I could handle a lot of stress and still succeed.  As I said previously I was also taking honors math at the same time and that is where the next piece comes from.  At the time honors math was the most advanced math I was taking.  We were given packets of notes along with problems to complete when we showed up to class an hour before school even started.  The section on math logic, ironically had everyone confused, but I had a lot of success with it.  I got a hundred percent on the packet and then took the knowledge I learned and aced the test.  The packet took us a week to finish and honestly with its level of difficulty it was some of the best work I have done.

Through all of those math classes I learned something very important.  I learned stress management, I learned that no matter how loaded I am with everything that I can accomplish high marks.  This helped me to not stress out in the future, which allowed me to balance everything thing in my life.  I have now been able to be every successful in my stressful senior year.
