 Throughout my elective classes I would have to say theatre was my favorite and where I had the most success.  My junior year we had two plays going on at the same time.  We had a small Christmas play and a major play.  At the same time I was learning the lines for the main play I was also learning the part for a completely different play.  Even with this against me I still gave an amazing performance.

 

Junior year we did the plays 60’s Mania and The Elf Rebellion.  We did these plays at the same exact time so while I was learning one part I was learning a completely new one.  I was really stressed out about the performance of The Elf Rebellion, because I had a huge role along with the role in 60’s Mania.  When the day of the play came around I also had a trigonometry test.  I was really worried about everything and it led to me being overworked and stressed.  Luckily my performance went great and it is still memorable to this day.  I was really proud of what I accomplished.

 

I learned a lot about stress management from all of this and I realized that no matter how much was going on I could still do an amazing job.  This allowed me to go confidently into my senior.  I can now handle the much larger work load I have in my senior year.  I have been much more successful thanks to this experience.
