Exhibit:          Quiz Busters

Benchmark:   Teamwork/Communication

Skills:              TC112:  Request support or help from others when needed

Quiz Busters is a hard trivia game where teamwork is the key to success.  We are asked a number of questions and we must use our combined knowledge to solve the problems when needed.  We have to give an answer once we discuss the question.  We bounce answers off of one another until we all decide on one that makes the most sense.

Our Quiz Buster team this year consists of Kim O'Connell, Michael Zieler, Allison Shuff and me.  We all have to work together to answer a serious of difficult questions.  Sometimes I need help on questions and so do they.  We are never afraid to ask each other because we know we have to work together to win.  I will ask my team if I have any doubt of the answer and we depend on one another to be there when we blank out or freak out over a question.  We always (TC112) Request support or help from others when we need it.  Our asking each other for help saves us from making silly mistakes that could cost us the match; we make clear and concise decisions so that we can have to most success in our games.

We all need some people to lean on sometimes when we need help and can’t be afraid to ask for it.  Asking for help will allow you to go farther in life that you could ever achieve on your own.  As an Art Director if I never ask for help the job will never get done, because I can't do everything on my own. In high school a chief part of our learning comes from asking our peers for help. I have had many points in time where I needed help and if I would not have asked I would have been lost, and I probably would have received a less than adequate grade.
